A very detailed map of the city of San Diego on the right, extending north to Pacific Beach and south to Division Street. The map on the left sets the City within its wider context of Riverside County to the north and Mexico to the south. Within the City, Balboa Park is noted as “Exposition Grounds”. Most place names are familiar except for a subdivision called ‘Lemona’ just east of Morena.
The Punnett Brothers and C.F. Weber worked together often, producing detailed maps of the cities and counties of California, from 1907 to 1914. However, no other example of this map of San Diego is recorded.
